Your ideal weight – what does the heart have to do with it?

Stop counting calories and start counting on yourself!

In this one day workshop you will learn how to gain control over your stress reactions. You will
achieve greater emotional balance and learn how to eliminate emotional eating. Instead of going on another diet, we’ll teach you about going to your heart.

Jacinta Noonan and Mary Jane Roy combine their two complementary approaches in this new
and unique workshop.

You will discover that developing and nurturing yourself on the inside has a direct effect on what
happens to you on the outside. You will learn how to recognize the stress triggers which lead to
emotional eating patterns. As well, you will learn how to transform your stress reactions into
supportive emotions. You will leave the workshop taking with you

• new insights about why you do what you do and how to do it differently

• valuable and useful information

• practical tips and suggestions that you can implement immediately

The workshop is highly interactive and will include demonstrations, pair work activities and lively discussions.

The fee for this one day workshop is 75,- euro exclusive VAT, inclusive refreshments, lunch and
a personal workbook. Please ensure your place by reserving early.

Two comments from participants of our previous presentations:

“I really enjoyed both presentations very much. After many attempts to follow a diet I start to
realise that the problem is not just food, but also emotion and “brains”. It was really interesting to
hear more about the subject and it made me curious to learn more. The solution is not the “perfect
diet”, but the perfect mind set. And maybe I should focus more on myself for a while instead of
making everybody else happy.“

“I thought both sections of the presentation were very interesting, motivational and useful for my situation…Jacinta’s presentation gave very useful tools to help start working through it. Your presentation, Mary Jane was hugely interesting. I didn’t know that stress can have so profound
effects on the heart and the body. It really gave the motivation to recognise the stress triggers and
try to minimise them. And also to try to be kind to myself and remember to laugh more. The venue
was very nice too and the group small enough for everybody to have a chance to comment if they wanted to.”
